.( Cherney Amhara/FOX5). LAS VEGAS( FOX5)-. Authorities recognized the male killed in a deadly shooting late Friday night in southwest Las Vegas while they continue their look for the gunman. The Clark County Coroner’s office said Eric Brooks, 18, died of multiple gunshot injuries and ruled his death a murder.

Officers discovered Brooks unresponsive within an area park in the 9100 block of Vintage Wine Opportunity, near Pebble Road and Quarterhorse Lane, at about 10:30 p.m.

City stated the 18-year-old was deceased at the scene with an apparent gunshot injury.

A variety of witnesses informed authorities they aimed to revive him however were not successful.

Homicide detectives stated through their preliminary examination, Brooks had a conference at the park with another individual prior to he was robbed and shot.

After the shooting authorities said neighbors saw a dark-colored sports energy lorry leave the area.
