KABUL, Afghanistan– An Afghan authorities states a suicide attack has eliminated 8 individuals and injured 17 in the country’s eastern Nangarhar province.
Attaullah Khogyani, spokesperson for the provincial governor, states the suicide bomber targeted a regional police leader who was just recently dismissed from his task.
Thursday’s attack happened in the provincial capital, Jalalabad. The officer, who was recognized only as Akram left unscathed but two of his kids were among those killed. The use of a single name prevails among Afghan men.
Khogyani states the opponent detonated his dynamites vest near the leader’s home where his advocates had gathered to get in touch with the federal government to provide him back his job in the district of Khiwa district.
No group right away claimed responsibility for the attack.
