180″/ > LAS VEGAS( FOX5)- Around two hundred Allegiant Airlines guests are stranded in Las Vegas. The airline company canceled its flight to Oklahoma City and states there will not be another one until Thursday.
Passengers received an e-mail from the airline company saying they ‘d send them a look for $300 in the next 7 to 10 company days, and if they select not to re-book with Allegiant the flight will be refunded.
However, passengers FOX5 talked with say that’s not enough.
” No loan to consume, no flights, all of the vehicles are gone, no rental cars, we have no hotel space,” guest Alana Buckner said.
She and other passengers went to the Allegiant desk for answer where Buckner states they were turned away.
” They locked the doors, they stated, we asked to talk to somebody higher up they stated that she is on trip. We requested for phone numbers for someone business anything and they stated there’s nothing they could do and they were gon na call security, we needed to leave,” Buckner said.
A little handful of passengers was put on an aircraft to Tulsa, and passengers that tried to find other airlines found tickets near $1500.
” It’s ridiculous I feel like at the very least you should give us another flight. Even at 7 a.m., give me something. Thursday is not even an alternative,” Buckner said. ” All of us have children and jobs that we need to get to Monday morning and no way to obtain back house.”
Spokesperson for Allegiant Airlines Krysta Levy profusely excused the last minute cancellation on behalf of the business and added that mechanical issues were to blame for the choice.
