name of the kid who was eliminated Wednesday night in an obvious murder-suicide. Authorities said 4-year-old Nova Knaub, of Las Vegas, lost his life in the deadly occurrence with his official cause of death pending.

Officers responded to the original situation at 7:06 p.m. in the 8700 block of Norton Peak Avenue, near Blue Diamond Road and Durango Drive.

Authorities stated the young boy passed away and his mother also suffered vital stab wounds with the thought opponent being the child’s father.

The male was the mom’s estranged boyfriend, inning accordance with Lt. Dan McGrath, and he required his method into the home and proceeded to bind the mother and kid’s hands with plastic zip ties.

He stabbed both victims numerous times prior to turning the weapon on himself. Police said the grandmother of the boy was also in the home.

She called emergency services and with a neighbor’s help was able to board the victims into a car, cops stated.

The grandma drove to Southern Hills healthcare facility where the kid was later noticable departed.

The mom was later on taken University Medical Center in vital condition, authorities said.

City murder detectives stated the event remains under examination.
