Las Vegas authorities said 4 people were shot after a “running gun battle” in the east valley Tuesday afternoon.
Lt. Grant Rogers of Metro cops said at least 20 rounds were fired after 4:00 p.m. at 354 N. Nellis Boulevard in a parking area between a SuperPawn and Denny’s restaurant.
Authorities stated 2 adults were contending each other. One guy was required to Sunrise by a woman who left the cars and truck and removed on foot.
Three bystanders were also shot, including a 10-year-old lady and her mom, who was shot in the shoulder. The third was lady driving north on Nellis, pulling into Walmart when a bullet came through her cars and truck and hit her, authorities said.
” I heard the shooting. I looked across the street by the Denny’s. 2 guys ranging from the side of the Denny’s shooting at each other. One had a gun the other lagged chasing him,” witness Levina Robinson stated. ” Right here is where they got my car. (A bullet) went through and lodged at the top of the roofing system. And that essentially was it. I took off, I was terrified.”
Police said it was potentially gang-related.
Nellis Boulevard was closed from Stewart Avenue to Charleston Boulevard.
