LVMPD released monitoring photos of a man who tried to rob the Ellis Island Gambling establishment cage (LVMPD/ FOX5). LAS VEGAS( FOX5 )- Las Vegas cops are searching for a guy they said

tried to rob the cage at Ellis Island gambling establishment, near Koval Lane and Flamingo Roadway. The suspect, referred to as a black man, got in Ellis Island about 8:15 p.m. Saturday night and went directly to the money cage, Lt. Cole said. He displayed a gun and demanded money from an employee, Cole stated, but when the worker pulled back the suspect got away south from the gambling establishment with no money.

Detectives were on scene and patrol officers were trying to find the suspect. He wore a maroon hoodie, black hat, blue denims and glasses at the time of the robbery.
