Rosemont. (Google Earth). ROSEMONT, Ill. (AP)– Hotel employees discovered the body of a missing out on 19-year-old Chicago woman Sunday inside a suburban hotel’s freezer. The Cook County Medical Inspector’s Office states Kenneka Jenkins was pronounced dead at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in the Chicago suburban area of Rosemont. It states her cause of death is not yet verified although an autopsy has actually been finished.

Rosemont police state hotel personnel found Jenkins inside the walk-in freezer. They state she was last seen at a celebration at the hotel early Saturday early morning. She was reported missing out on Saturday afternoon.

The lady’s mother, Tereasa Martin, told the Chicago Tribune that authorities told her Jenkins obviously let herself into the freezer while drunk.

Martin stated that if her daughter was intoxicated, she would have had difficulty opening the heavy freezer doors and would’ve realized she wasn’t getting in an elevator or the hotel entryway.
