College of Fine Arts Hosts Second Yearly Art Walk Oct. 12

UNLV College of Fine Arts Dean Nancy J. Uscher invites you to a celebratory evening honoring the Las Vegas arts community for its devoted support of the arts and culture in Southern Nevada from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m Friday, Oct. 12 start in the Marjorie Barrick Museum of Art. Champagne, red wine, and hors d’oeuvres will be served. It is free and open to the general public.

Beginning in the Marjorie Barrick Museum of Art, and winding its method through school premises and gardens, the Art Stroll will reveal you interactive exhibits, dance and musical performances, theater experiences, and a lot more.

Tamar Ettun’s Festivity Inflation
This solo exhibit consists of numerous parts. At the center, there is an intimate compartment consisting of an installation of interactive audio work. It is surrounded by mixed media sculptures, a choice of speculative videos, and four inflatable room-sized environments where visitors will be enveloped by a climate of vivid color.
