MIAMI– A Florida newspaper reports that comic Hannibal Buress was apprehended on a disorderly intoxication charge after an encounter with a policeman.
The Miami Herald initially reported that 34-year-old Buress was booked into Miami-Dade prison at 1:57 a.m. Sunday and posted bail prior to 6 a.m.
. A video circulated on social networks showed Buress handcuffed against a Miami police car.
Inning accordance with the paper, Buress asked officers why he was being arrested. One officer stated, “trespassing,” but he wasn’t accuseded of that.
A police report acquired by the Herald stated Buress asked an officer to call him an Uber, and when the officer declined, Buress became loud and belligerent.
Miami Authorities did not respond to calls and an email asking for to launch the report on Sunday.
A call to his representative and an e-mail to his attorney weren’t immediately returned Sunday.
