Doctor identified as bicyclist killed in west Vegas crash

( Les Krifaton/FOX5). LAS VEGAS( FOX5) -. Clark County Coroner’s Workplace recognized a 51-year-old bicyclist who died in a crash including a tour bus in west Las Vegas on Tuesday. Medical inspectors said Kayvan Khiabani, of Las Vegas, passed away of blunt force injury stemming from a mishap.

The University of Nevada, Reno, School of Medicine verified Khiabani was a professor for the organization. He signed up with the school in 2002. He was also the Chief of Hand Surgical treatment at University Medical Center.

According to authorities, Khiabani was riding a bike in the location of Charleston Boulevard and Pavilion Center Own when he lost control and veered into a charter bus. Khiabani was taken to UMC where he was later pronounced dead.

The crash remains under investigation. There were no other injuries to the residents on board.
