Female killed in North Las Vegas shooting determined

Vegas woman who was eliminated in a shooting early Friday morning. Inning accordance with police , a 26-year-old woman lost her life while in treatment at University Medical Center Injury after officers reacted to shots fired at 3:20 a.m. The call came from the 3300 block of Civic Center Drive, where the female was found.

The lady was later determined by the Clark County Coroner’s office as Raneisha Smith. The coroner said she passed away from a gunshot wound to the chest which her death has been ruled a murder.

Cops also stated a 25-year-old guy was dropped off at North Vista Healthcare facility with an apparent gunshot injury connected to the initial shooting. The male was then carried to UMC in stable condition.

Both victims were on the balcony of a home prior to the shooting according to an initial investigation conducted by North Las Vegas cops.

Officers have not made any arrests, and a description of the shooter has not yet been disclosed.
