Guy detained after making threat referencing 1 October

Paul Fister postures for a mug shot Oct. 6, 2017 (FOX5/ LVMPD).( FOX5) – A man was collared after threatening to blow up the Brooklyn Bowl” like the person that exploded the festival at Mandalay Bay, “according to an arrest report. The report stated Paul Joseph Fister, Jr. tried to redeem a voucher at the Brooklyn Bowl on Oct. 6. The clerk told him he did not have the proper voucher and he had to go back and get the best one. That’s when Fister became angry, started to argue with the clerk, and threatened to blow up the business prior to leaving.

Fister was apprehended at the Cromwell.

Fister told police he ended up being upset because he has anger concerns and “he understood he ought to not have stated exactly what he said because of the recent events at Mandalay Bay.” When asked where his automobile was, he initially told authorities it was with a friend. Then he told officers it was in the parking lot at the Cromwell. The vehicle was examined by security bomb canines and absolutely nothing was discovered.

Fister was taken into custody for making a danger regarding an act of terrorism. His records showed he had a previous charge of communicating dangers in North Carolina and several DUI’s.
