A guy who was injured in a shootout following a road-rage incident originating from a minor auto accident Wednesday is facing several charges in connection with the event, according to North Las Vegas cops.
David Rosengrant-Munoz, 18, is recuperating at University Medical Center and was booked in absentia at the Clark County Detention Center on one count each of attack with a fatal weapon, attempted robbery with a fatal weapon, and tried murder with a deadly weapon, police stated.
Obviously distressed that his BMW coupe was somewhat rear-ended about 1:50 p.m. near Cheyenne Avenue and Martin Luther King Boulevard, Rosengrant-Munoz exited his car, gun in hand, and approached the other motorist, authorities stated. Scared for his life, that motorist removed.
Rosengrant-Munoz pursued and challenged the 24-year-old guy about a mile away in a property neighborhood near Revere Street and Colton Opportunity, police said. There, both males got out of their cars and trucks and exchanged gunfire.
The 2nd man was not hurt, police said. It wasn’t clear if he would be dealing with any charges.
