. A guy was apprehended Tuesday in connection with a bank break-in recently in Henderson, authorities said.
Jeffrey Kerr, 36, was apprehended at an extended stay hotel near Nellis Flying force Base.
Crime Stopper ideas and other investigative work helped Henderson Authorities locate and determine Kerr.
The robbery occurred June 23 at a U.S. Bank branch on 10565 S. Eastern Ave., near Horizon Ridge Parkway.
Police said Kerr approached one of the tellers, demanded cash, then fled the count on foot.
No weapons were utilized and no one was injured during the break-in, police stated.
Kerr is being held at the Henderson Detention Center on charges of burglary and robbery.
It’s the cops department’s second arrest of a believed bank burglar in 2 days. A man accused of robbing 4 banks in June was jailed Monday.
