Cops report a hiker has actually lost their life after falling at Red Rock Canyon Saturday morning. Search and save systems were contacted us to the canyon just before 11:30 a.m. with callers notifying emergency dispatch that a hiker had fallen.

Las Vegas Metro cops stated the hiker was located and noticable departed at the scene.

The neglect at Red Rock Canyon was closed while rescue units dealt with the recovery of the hiker.
