Finally, hometown rock heroes Think of Dragons will heading an appropriate arena concert in Las Vegas. The band’s 31-stop Evolve World Trip released previously this week at Talking Stick Resort Arena in Phoenix and touches down at T-Mobile Arena Friday night.
It will not be its first time there, though. Frontman Dan Reynolds sang with The Killers on T-Mobile’s opening night in April 2016, and the entire band carried out an explosive version of “Follower” at the Signboard Music Awards there in Might. Reynolds states the group cannot wait to play its phase once again.
“We’re actually thrilled, and it’s such a lovely venue. We’ve enjoyed those [previous] experiences there,” he says. “The Vegas shows are constantly the most unique, to have friends and family come out, and this time will be additional unique because of those fans who have actually been with us given that the very start and saw us play at Beauty Bar and the Bunkhouse [years ago] We wouldn’t be here if it wasn’t for Vegas fans.”
Reynolds says the band is especially amped for this trip due to the fact that its chart-topping third studio album (launched in June) supplies an additional layer of material that presses the Dragons live show to the next level.
“It feels so good to lastly have a real catalog to comb through on the roadway,” he says. “This is the very first time we have dozens of tunes to choose from, and we plan on altering it up every night to keep it fascinating and interesting.” Think of Dragons at T-Mobile Arena, September 29.
