Authorities in the Tulsa suburban area of Sand Springs state the body of 29-year-old Katherine Caraway of Muskogee was discovered Monday when the locked restroom was opened.
Capt. Todd Enzbrenner says video shows Caraway going into the room about 6 p.m. Friday. He says store staff members presumed since the door was locked that something in the restroom needed to be fixed, so they positioned an out-of-order sign on the door.
Enzbrenner states a maintenance worker opened the door quickly after 3 p.m. Monday.
Enzbrenner states the body was sent to the state medical inspector to figure out the cause of death, however that it doesn’t appear suspicious.
Walmart provided the following statement about the discovery, inning accordance with KOKI-TV:” We are distressed by this. We don’t know all the realities right now, but we are working closely with local police to offer what info we have that may be useful.
