“This offender is a predator,” prosecutor Kristina Rhoades said of 16 years of age Maysen Melton. The teenager is accused of nearly 2 dozen charges consisting of sexual assault, kidnapping and child porn.
“He raped numerous victims in this case,” Rhoades said. These declared attacks took place when Melton was a student at Shadow Ridge High school. He would not comment on whether he learnt about the charges Maysen Melton was dealing with when he was moved to Palo Verde however did include he has no control of the district putting trainees in his school. The judge set bail at $200,000 and ordered Melton to have no contact with any of the declared victims. He will be back in court January 25th.
