Despite the overcast conditions, rain primarily stayed away from the Las Vegas Valley on Sunday.
And Monday shouldn’t be much different, according to the National Weather condition Service.
The 20 percent opportunity of rain in the forecast is limited to the outskirts of Las Vegas, meteorologist Chris Stachelski said.
The weather condition, however, ought to be a couple of degrees cooler than Sunday’s 100 degree high, Stachelski stated. The high today is forecasted to reach 96 and dip substantially to Tuesday’s expected 90 degrees.
Expect winds to get this evening into Tuesday, with gusts reaching in between 30 and 40 miles per hour, Stachelski said.
