Looking Into Zen in Las Vegas

Rather than seeing Las Vegas as culturally vacant, James Stanford browses him and sees artistic chance.

One of the UNLV alumnus’ ventures involves taking pictures of many of Las Vegas’ iconic neon indications and architecture and using them as the basis of brand-new works of art.

After years of photographing such images, Stanford started utilizing his graphic arts skills to turn those pictures into mandalas, which he describes as visual works of art that take you into greater consciousness.
