DENHAM SPRINGS, LA (WVUE) –
A Louisiana massage therapist was found killed after going to an in-home visit.
Investigators state Kayla Ann Denham went to a Denham Springs home to fulfill a customer for a visit. Before she showed up, she texted her boyfriend the address of where she would be. But, the Baton Rouge massage therapist, who advertised online, never ever returned house.
“In the future, the sweetheart did not hear from her. He began calling her and couldn’t get her and he knew something wasn’t right so then he started trying to find her,” said Livingston Parish Sheriff Jason Ard.
Now, Christopher Landry is charged with Denham’s murder. Investigators state her partner discovered her car on Landry’s property and police found her body in a building on his residential or commercial property.
The news is concerning for New Orleans massage therapist, Amy Nicole Stewart.
“Normally, if I am going to somebody’s house it’s somebody I’ve satisfied before because it is a very susceptible thing to appear with your massage table, somebody that you do not know’s home so it can be actually scary,” said Stewart.
