LAS VEGAS( FOX5)-. Las Vegas City police are examining a “love triangle” shooting that left two individuals dead and one hurt early Saturday morning. Officers reacted to reports of a shooting at 7:27 a.m. in the area of F Street and Morgan Avenue, near Washington Opportunity. On arrival, 2 departed males and an injured lady were found on the scene.

According to Lt. Dan McGrath, the woman was fulfilling her boyfriend and was followed by her husband, 41-year-old Jorge Rodriguez. Rodriguez struck the other male’s lorry with his own then exited his lorry and fired several rounds at the woman and the male prior to turning the gun on himself, authorities said.

Police stated the female suffered a minimum of two gunshot wounds to her legs. The man she was consulting with was shot in the head at close range and may have been hit by the suspect’s vehicle, according to McGrath.

The female was transported to UMC in unknown condition but stays stable.

McGrath said the shooting will be examined as a domestic violence incident.

” It’s very regrettable, anything associated to domestic violence– there are constantly other choices, there are constantly other methods to handle this,” McGrath stated.

The Clark County Coroner will launch the identity of the deceased after his family has actually been notified. Stay with FOX5 for updates.
