PAHRUMP– Nye County constable’s deputies have actually arrested a suspect in the death of a 3-year-old kid in Pahrump.
The constable’s office states 38-year-old Cole Engleson of Pahrump was being kept in the county prison without bail today on suspicion of open murder, domestic violence and kid abuse with considerable physical harm leading to death.
Detectives say police responded to calls about a kid who had stopped breathing at a regional home at 7:15 p.m. Saturday.
Police say the kid had several swellings and other injuries, and later on was pronounced dead at Desert View Hospital.
Investigators say the kid supposedly had actually been left alone in the care of Engelson, who was recognized as the sweetheart of the kid’s mother.
An autopsy is pending. It’s not clear if Engleson has an attorney or will be selected one at a pending court appearance.
