26-year-old male in connection with a road rage occurrence that hurt a 77-year-old man. Aaron Keith was detained Monday early morning for battery with a deadly weapon resulting in substantial bodily damage and discharging a firearm into an occupied vehicle. Authorities stated on Sunday at 6:46 p.m. officers received reports that a suspect, determined as Keith, fired several shots into another automobile during a road rage occurrence in the area of Pacific Opportunity and Van Wagenen Street. Authorities said the victim sustained a non-life threatening gunshot wound to his ideal leg. He was taken to Sunrise Hospital for treatment.

Keith left the area in a white compact cars and truck, potentially a Toyota, cops said.
