Man eliminated in shooting near downtown Las Vegas

A guy was killed throughout a shooting near downtown Las Vegas early Tuesday early morning, according to police.

The shooting happened about 1:05 a.m. in the 1600 block of George Location, near the intersection of D Street and Owens Avenue.

Lt. Dan McGrath, of Las Vegas City authorities, stated officers reacted to the scene after a number of callers reported hearing gunshots in the location. They showed up to find the body of a guy who had been shot a number of times.

McGrath stated they do not think the victim, who was explained just as a guy in his 40s, lived at the scene of the shooting.

Cops are looking for a pair of males who were seen ranging from the location after the shooting, McGrath stated. The men jumped into a vehicle called a Chrysler 300 that is either gray or light blue.

The identity of the victim will later be launched by the Clark County Coroner’s Office.
