Man killed in shopping center car park mishap identified


LAKE LAS VEGAS (FOX5) –

A mishap in the Las Vegas South Premium Outlets parking lot left a single person hurt and another dead.

Authorities state a 2015 Polaris Slingshot tri-mobile entered the mall parking area through the south driveway just before 4 a.m. Saturday.

The three-wheeled automobile rose onto the pathway then went back to the driveway before striking a raised landscaped island. The vehicle then got back onto the driveway where it made contact with a metal donation box that was beside a concrete flood control channel.

Police state the automobile then hit the channel and the impact caused it to become airborne prior to landing on the parking lot. Clark County Fire Department reacted to the scene and extricated the male driver and female passenger.

The guy was transported to UMC Injury with vital injuries. The female sustained substantial injuries and was likewise transferred.

The motorist was noticable dead at UMC Trauma shortly after arriving. The Clark County Coroner’s Office recognized him as 25 year-old Zackece Townsend.
