Barbara Miller, 38, Amanda Miller, 19, and Sophia Nicholas, 28, were arrested on Aug. 13 and booked at the Clark County Detention Center, police stated. Investigators recently jailed Robert Mitchell, 31, Dorina Mitchell, 36, and a minor.
Because the preliminary arrests were announced, the number of victims reached 65 from 35 formerly recognized, cops stated.
Victims started reporting the incidents in December. The suspects– 3 to five– would pull beside their victims and have them pull over, telling them they had actually struck their car, police said.
While the victims were supplying insurance info, the suspects would take valuables from inside the victims’ cars, police stated.
Suspects would likewise show damage to their lorries they said was caused by the victims and they would extort cash “on the area” as a settlement, or they would accompany the victims to different locations to obtain money.
The recognized suspect lorries were a 2016 dark Nissan Versa, a 2007 white Dodge Battery charger, a blue Ford Mustang and a tan Toyota Sequoia.
