Motorcyclist eliminated in crash late Monday night

A 41-year-old motorcyclist is dead after crashing into a car late Monday night, Las Vegas cops said.

The crash happened about 10:45 p.m. near the crossway of Russell and Fort Apache roadways, Metro composed Tuesday early morning in a release.

Proof at the scene and witness statements suggest a 2009 Harley Davidson, eastbound on Russell, hit a westbound 2004 Dodge Stratus making a left turn onto Fort Apache, the release stated.

The male rider was expelled from the motorcycle.

He was transported to University Medical Center, where he passed away.

Angelina Iamurri, 43, the driver of the Dodge, suffered minor injuries and continued to be at the scene.

The Clark County coroner’s office will certainly identify the departed as soon as next of kin has actually been informed.

This is the 55th traffic-related fatality in Metro’s jurisdiction.
