Motorist, 79, determined after knocking into Vegas home

A driver died late Sunday night after the person’s automobile raked through a wall and a home near Wyoming Opportunity and Las Vegas Boulevard.

According to Las Vegas Metro cops’s Accident Examination Section, the crash including the single car occurred at 10:22 p.m.

Sgt. Richard Strader, of City, said a 79-year-old male was driving a Honda car east on Wyoming when he took a trip through the traffic signal of the “T” type crossway, drove up onto a curb and continued through a car park. The motorist then knocked through a block wall and continued into the back of a home, where the car came to rest.

The driver passed away as a result of the event.

On Monday, the Clark County Coroner’s Workplace identified the man as Arthur Marvin. Marvin’s cause of death stemmed from multiple blunt force injuries as a result of an accident.

A 12-year-old lady who was sleeping in the back bedroom was taken to University Medical Center with moderate injuries and later launched, cops stated.

There were no other injuries reported.
