. An achievement he’s devoting to his mom, former NBA star Mike Bibby finished from UNLV this morning.
The trek took him 20 years since he ‘d left college early to pursue a professional career, however graduating was something he had actually promised his mom, Virginia Bibby. “It feels great,” he said in a news release.
Bibby is now a Bachelor of Arts in multidisciplinary studies from UNLV’s College of Liberal Arts. He was with family in Arizona commemorating his birthday today.
The Grizzlies chose Bibby as its 2nd total choice in the 1998 NBA draft fter his effective stint at the University of Arizona. He went on to play with the Kings, Hawks, Wizards, Heat and Knicks, balancing about 15 points, 5.5 assists and about 3 rebounds a video game.
Prior to that, he played at Shadow Mountain High School in Phoenix, Ariz., where he’s coached the past four seasons and has actually won state champions.
