Law enforcement automobiles appear to have been targeted in at least 6 different crashes involving a group of individuals making use of taken vehicles and trucks, according to Las Vegas City police.

The cops department revealed details Monday of the crashes that started about 4 months back. The latest event took place early Monday morning.

Authorities said at least 3 people might be collaborating to steal a ride, rig the gas pedal in it and slam it into an automobile belonging to police. The vehicles were reportedly vacant in all of the celebrations.

The incidents took place in Las Vegas, Henderson and Stone City, and Metro rides were not solely influenced in the crashes. City listed the incidents throughout the following dates and times:

April 29 in Henderson: Automobile crash at 11:52 p.m.
June 18 in southwest Las Vegas: Vehicle crash at 2:30 a.m.
June 27 in Stone City: Ride crash at 5:19 a.m..
July 5-6 in south Las Vegas: Vehicle taken at 11:15 p.m.; crash at 1:30 a.m.
July 22 off St. Rose Parkway: Ride crash at 11:13 p.m.
July 27 in northwest Las Vegas: Car crash at 3:02 a.m.

. In addition, authorities believe individuals in the case would be utilizing cars consisting of a Chevy S10, GMC Sonoma or a white Chevy Cavalier. Monitoring video of possible automobiles and person included were posted on Metro’s YouTube page.

Metro Deputy Chief Tom Roberts stated the occurrence in Boulder City could have been much worse.

“In this circumstances, there was a tree in the front backyard. Had it not been for the tree, we’re quite positive this ride would have encountered this residence. In among the front bed rooms because house is a 3-year-old girl sleeping. We’re confident she would have been badly injured,” he stated.
