A pedestrian was hit by a car and eliminated in the northeast valley Thursday night, Las Vegas authorities said.
Officers responded to the intersection of North Sloan Lane and East Lake Mead Boulevard prior to 8 p.m.
Metro manager Lt. Ken Ball said the pedestrian was killed while crossing a street.
Added details were not immediately available. Detectives with City’s Mishap Examination Area turned off traffic in the area while they collect facts about the crash.
