Pedestrian killed in Las Vegas crash

LAS VEGAS( FOX5)-. Las Vegas City police said they are investigating a fatal crash involving a pedestrian Saturday night. Officers responded to the scene at 11:34 p.m. at Warm Springs Roadway and Tamarus Street, east of Interstate 215.

Mentioning proof at the scene and witness declarations, police stated a Toyota Prius was traveling eastbound on Warm Springs Road at Tamarus Street in the left travel lane. A pedestrian was walking east in the left eastbound travel lane of Warm Springs Roadway when the Toyota struck him.

The 53-year-old pedestrian was required to a local health center, where he later passed away. The driver of the vehicle was likewise required to the healthcare facility with small injuries.

The motorist of the Toyota did not show indications of problems, authorities said.

Metro’s Fatal Information is investigating the crash.
