It’s a wrap of another year of the iHeartRadio Music Celebration at MGM Grand Garden Arena and MGM Resorts Town on the Las Vegas Strip, 2 days and nights of music by a few of the most popular and bestselling artists in the world.

Night 1 at MGM Grand Garden Arena showcased standout performances by Sam Smith, Coldplay, Duran Duran and The Killers— the latter home town heroes were a favorite all around, beginning their set with Elvis Presley’s “Viva Las Vegas” and frontman Brandon Flowers looking dapper in a blue paisley jacket and pocket square.

Night 1’s red carpet at MGM Grand included Smith, The Killers, Duran Duran, Courtney Love, Disclosure, Demi Lovato, Krewella, Taylor Lautner, Josh Hutcherson, Ryan Seacrest, Jason Derulo, Ashley Tisdale, Becca Tilley, Nash Grier, Nick Viall (“The Bachelor” and “The Bachelorette”) with brand-new partner design Kelly Thomas and Macy’s Rising Star artist Christina Grimmie.

Day 2 included daytime performances at the Daytime Town at MGM Resorts Village across from the Luxor. The lineup: Tove Lo, Lee Brice, Echosmith, Zella Day, Lovato, George Ezra, Tori Kelly, Hozier (members of Duran Duran showed up for his set), Trey Songz, James Bay, Nick Jonas, Shawn Mendes, The Struts, Walk the Moon and Big Sean.

Editor at Big John Katsilometes returned for Night 2 at MGM Grand Garden Arena. The Weeknd, who has the No. 1 and 2 tunes in the country, started the night as well as carried out Friday night (really, early Saturday early morning) at Drai’s Bar atop the Cromwell. Kats raved about early entertainers Jennifer Lopez and Blake Shelton. Performers also consisted of Sean “Puff Daddy” Combs, Lil Kim and closer DJ Diplo.
