two got into an argument over his new young puppy, cops said. Andrew David Wilson was arraigned Monday on charges of murder and felony firearm possession. Wilson called 911 Friday morning and informed cops he found his mother, Lisa Wilson, dead in their Wheatfield Township house. Officers reportedly discovered the 51-year-old lady in her bed room with a gunshot wound to the back of her head.

The Lansing State Journal reports Lisa told her boy on Thursday that a pup he found a few weeks prior could not remain in her house. Instead, she stated the canine would have to live with his dad in Dansville, a neighboring town.

Wilson told cops he got rid of a. 22 Magnum rifle from a locked cabinet in the overnight hours. He then went into his mother’s room and shot her in the back of the head while she slept, Detective Charles Buckland affirmed during Monday’s court hearing.

Wilson is being held without bond. His next court date will be held on Sept. 28.
