Police discovered Andrea Grinage, 31, with extreme burns in the bathtub of her apartment or condo in Capitol Heights, just beyond Washington, D.C on Friday. target =” _ blank” > WJLA reports. Her father, Arthur Grinage, told the news station that Phillips was angry because he wasn’t ready for fathership.

” Well, all of it stems from him not wanting to take responsibility for him being a brand-new father,” stated Arthur Grinage. “He didn’t desire that. As soon as the child is developed, it’s far too late for all that. You either step up and be a papa or you walk away.”

Both mom and kid stay in critical condition.

Cops stated Phillips turned himself in, however an intention for the criminal activity is still under investigation. Charges are currently pending.
