smashed into her vehicle’s windscreen. Melinda Cullen, 38, died Tuesday afternoon while driving on an interstate in Joliet, Illinois, inning accordance with state cops.

Officials said a truck driver was taking a trip east on Interstate 80 when the truck’s wheel hub came removed from its rear tractor axle. The brake drum crossed over into the westbound lanes and struck Cullen’s windscreen.

She was taken to the healthcare facility where she was noticable dead.

The chauffeur of the truck, Antanas Sereiva, 59, was charged with a Federal Motor Carrier Security Act offense for “risky equipment,” authorities stated.

A family statement stated Cullen valued her time with enjoyed ones and was constantly there for them.

The household of Melinda Cullen is grateful for the outpouring of assistance and love that they are receiving during this tough time. Melinda was a dedicated mother of 3 precious children and was expecting her first child, Jaxson in April. This awful occasion has affected many, and we are reminded how Melinda always made special time for her family or anybody in requirement. The family ask for prayers and support as they process the loss of Melinda and her boy Jaxson.

Cullen leaves a husband and 3 daughters. Her funeral is scheduled for Saturday.

The incident is under investigation.
