The UNLV Performing Arts Center is proud to invite Cantus– the premier males’s U.S. vocal ensemble (Fanfare)– at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 3, in their debut Las Vegas performance. They will be joined onstage by the Green Valley High School Choir.
Cantus– Jacob Christopher, tenor; Zachary Colby, tenor; Adam Fieldson, tenor; Chris Foss, bass; David Geist, baritone; Matthew Goinz, baritone; Samuel Green, bass; and Paul Scholtz, tenor– engages audiences in a meaningful music experience and makes sure the future of ensemble singing by mentoring young vocalists and educators. Cantus wased established on the suitables of collective music-making: The ensemble collaborates to reach brand-new levels of creative excellence, innovation, and audience engagement. Their vision is to give voice to shared human experiences.
Tickets to Cantus are $50, $40, $30, $20, and can be bought through the Performing Arts Center ticket officeor by calling 702-895-ARTS (2787 ). Trainee rush tickets are $10 each (not inclusive of the centers charge) and offered one hour prior to each event, based on schedule and with valid trainee ID. UNLV faculty and staff discounts also are offered.
A $1.50 facilities fee, in addition to the ticket cost, is charged on all Performing Arts Center tickets. Package office is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday.
About the PAC
The UNLV Carrying Out Arts Center is Southern Nevada’s first house for the arts: it opened in 1976 and celebrates its 42nd season this year. It hosts a variety of efficiencies and occasions and is home to productions presented by the Nevada Conservatory Theatre, UNLV School of Music, UNLV Dance, Desert Chorale, and the Southern Nevada Musical Arts Society. The UNLV PAC also is pleased to host various Clark County School District Fine Arts celebrations and performances.
