Rattlesnake traps 2 in mine shaft near Lake Mead

A guy and a kid were trapped in a mine shaft near Lake Mead on Friday because of a rattlesnake, according to authorities.

According to the National forest Service, rangers received a call at 10:35 a.m. about two individuals who were stuck in a mine shaft near the Ore Vehicle Mine off Northshore Road.

About midday, rangers stated, rescue crews reached the pair who reported that a rattlesnake has blocked their course. The pair likewise has water and protein bars with them while they waited to be saved.

Rangers said about 12:30 p.m. that the pair had been safely rescued.
