according to a TMZ report. YG, whose legal name is Kennon Jackson, appeared at the Las Vegas Justice Court on Thursday after an arrest warrant was provided, records showed. TMZ said the rap artist turned himself in. Records revealed he published $20,000, was bought to stay out of problem and stay in contact with his legal counsel.
Citing Las Vegas cops, TMZ stated the occurrence happened in late Might at The Cosmopolitan at about 4 a.m. A male approached the rapper and asked for an image but was turned away. The man reportedly “informed YG he’s not a genuine celeb and gambling establishment’s monitoring video footage shows YG striking back by yanking a chain off his neck.” The rapper picked up the chain and left.
TMZ stated the chain is worth in between $3,000 and $9,000.
The victim is likewise taking legal action against the rap artist and claimed his entourage “beat him up” prior to the rapper took his chain, TMZ reported. The victim desires a minimum of $250,000.
Court records show the rap artist is due in Las Vegas Justice Court on Oct. 8 for a preliminary hearing.
