. A scooter rider was eliminated Wednesday afternoon in a crash with a dump truck that shut down the intersection of Sahara Opportunity and Nellis Boulevard for numerous hours, inning accordance with Metro Cops.
Officers and medical crews were called to the crash about 2:15 p.m., authorities stated.
The 73-year-old Las Vegas guy cannot stop at a traffic signal and crashed into the side of the truck, which caused him to be thrown from his 2016 Jingsu 50cc moped, authorities said.
Although he was wearing a helmet, he died at Daybreak Health center and Medical Center where he was taken in important condition, police said.
