LAS VEGAS( FOX5)-. Las Vegas Metro authorities were dealing with an armed man at a funeral house near McCarran airport Sunday early morning. Officers reacted to the Davis Funeral House and Memorial Park, at the crossway of Eastern
Opportunity and Patrick Lane, prior to 10 a.m. with reports of a man pointing a gun at his own head. Metro stated officers and SWAT were negotiating with the guy at the scene.
All travel lanes near the crossway of Eastern and Patrick were shut down when the scenario was active. McCarran officials also stated a couple of leaving flights were postponed since the event eliminated particular runway access.
Authorities updated the scenario simply after 2 p.m. with the guy collared and carried to the hospital. Police stated he suffered a self-inflicted gunshot injury to his shoulder, however it was thought about non-life threatening.
