LAUREL, Del. (AP)– Authorities say an intruder who broke into an intermediate school got stuck on an elevator and was required to call 911 for assistance.
Regional media outlets report that authorities say 19-year-old Michael Claude of Laurel broke into the school Monday. Authorities state he was riding down the corridors on a buffing machine prior to he got on the elevator. After he got stuck, police state, Claude called 911 for help, and an elevator maintenance service had the ability to open the doors.
Police state Claude was discovered using a Laurel letterman jacket that did not belong to him. He was arresteded for third-degree robbery, criminal mischief and theft. He was released on $3,800 bond.
