City Authorities are asking for the public’s aid to locate 2 suspects they state were associated with a northeast valley shooting last month.
Officers were called about 11:50 p.m. June 12 to an apartment complex in the 5200 block of Craig Roadway, near Nellis Boulevard, where they discovered a woman in an automobile with a gunshot wound to the head, police stated.
The female and a male pal were in the 5300 block of Craig Roadway when they noticed a group of males, one of whom they believed was involved in a break-in that took place weeks before, cops said.
The pair followed the group into a company complex, and as the pair was leaving later, 2 members of the group appeared in the area, police said.
One suspect chance at the victims’ car and hit the female in the head, police said.
The female was taken to University Medical Center in crucial condition, authorities said.
The very first suspect, who police say fired at the car, is called a black guy about Twenty Years old who was putting on a red t-shirt and black denims, authorities stated.
The 2nd suspect was thought to be a roughly 17-year-old black male, authorities said. He had a flat-top hairstyle with blonde coloring on top, authorities said.
Police are asking anybody with more information on the suspects or the case to call Metro’s Gang Crimes Section at 702-828-3309. To stay confidential, call Criminal activity Stoppers at 702-385-5555 or see crimestoppersofnv.com.
