. A motorist who obviously was distressed over a small two-vehicle crash on Interstate 15 Monday early morning pumped bullets into the SUV that crashed into his lorry, berated the victim and took his mobile phone, according to the Nevada Highway Patrol.
The supposed aggressor, Keith Walker, 27, was detained by showing up cannon fodders soon after the 11 a.m. crash on the highway near Charleston Boulevard, the patrol said.
Walker lagged the wheel of a 2017 Subaru Crosstrek when the motorist of a GMC Yukon made an “risky” lane modification and hit his car, the patrol wrote in a news release. “The intensity of the crash was small home damage to both lorries.”
Walker supposedly followed the victim, pulled out a.40-caliber gun and chance at the back of the SUV, the patrol said. When both lorries stopped, Walker exited his lorry and ordered the victim from his, berating him then taking his cell phone.
The victim in some way was able to lock himself in his vehicle while authorities showed up, the patrol said.
Troopers pointed out the victim for the crash and let him go, the patrol stated. Walker was jailed on felony counts of attempted murder, attack with a deadly weapon, shooting from an automobile, burglary with a deadly weapon, and browbeating with force.
Troopers discovered the gun he is thought of utilizing at the scene.
Walker was being held without bond at the Clark County Detention Center, jail logs reveal.
