Cops reacted to the 7700 block of Soda Canyon Street in southwest Las Vegas simply after 3:00 p.m. where the victim said he was fulfilling somebody to buy a laptop he had worked out with on the market website OfferUp.com.

When he got there, a guy in his 20s came up to him, requiring cash and a cellular phone. Police said the thief took the money and phone and ran off. . A pair of security personnel at the Miracle Mile Shops on the Strip were shot Thursday night when they challenged 2 burglary suspects in the parking garage of the shopping mall, authorities stated.

According to cops, the security guards reacted to a call about 7:45 p.m. that the Sunglass Hut was being robbed. The guards went after the 2 suspects to the parking lot where among them opened fire, striking one guard in the hand and the other in the neck.

The guards were transferred to Sunrise Healthcare facility with nonlife-threatening injuries.

The suspects, both Hispanic guys, remain on the loose, police stated.

As of about 10 p.m. the shopping center was open to pedestrian traffic. The Miracle Mile parking lot was closed, however cars are allowed to leave.
