All The Vegas Podcast: Harrah’s artistically humorous headliner Tape Face

All The Vegas ATV15: Tape Face

All The Vegas hosts Brock Radke and Mark Shunock talk with Tape Face, aka comic, author and artist Sam Wills.

Acclaimed New Zealand-born comic, author and artist Sam Wills developed a character called The Kid With Tape On His Face just to prove a point– that he might carry out without speaking and it would be good. “Then it spiraled out of control,” he says on the latest episode of the All The Vegas podcast. After evolving the show and changing the character’s name to Tape Face, he has explored worldwide, become a viral feeling thanks to an appearance on America’s Got Talent and is now performing six nights a week in his own room, your house of Tape, at Harrah’s Las Vegas. We also talk with Sam about his days in the U.K. as a street entertainer; choosing the ideal brand of tape that will not rip off excessive of one’s lips; pinching intoxicated people; why”Endless Love “is his “Stairs to Heaven”; composing classic comedy and handling audience volunteers who strip too much and ask to not be set on fire.

Sam has a favorite Shell station … no, wait … he advises the healthy, yummy Japanese fare at Osaka on West Sahara. Mark is getting into holiday mode thanks to a see to the Ethel M Chocolates Vacation Cactus Garden, which you can explore until January 6.

The food court is in session and Judge Brock is prepared to rule: Block 16 at the Cosmopolitan is delicious.

Boyz II Men may be the most underrated headliner on the Strip

One of my preferred regional food writing associates stated and/or composed something years ago that still resonates with me as I look for accurate methods to explain the different Vegas experiences I come across. He was talking or writing about a restaurant on the Strip and how it was “better than it needs to be.”

To color that in a bit with context: It has to do with the captive traveler audience at any given minute. You’re an Italian dining establishment, you’ve got chicken parm and you’ve got nonstop traffic from the thousands of hotel guests sleeping above your dining establishment. And yet your chicken parm is just impressive. Much better than it needs to be.

Because I have actually been consuming at Strip dining establishments less and instead consuming all the programs on the Boulevard, this approach has actually proven to be almost widely real. I apply it to the prominent resident headliners whose popularity alone tends to sell pricey tickets. If you purchase a ticket to see Celine or Cher or Gwen, you’re most likely to take pleasure in the show, but those artists and the people who develop their productions are going to exceed your expectations.

My preferred example of this indulgent quality is at one of my preferred resorts, the Mirage. Now in their sixth year performing at the Terry Fator Theatre, Nathan Morris, Wanya Morris and Shawn Stockman– Boyz II Men– have honed their minimal, considerably amusing program into a standard bearer for Strip musical productions.

I’ve been recommending this residency to complete strangers, good friends, travelers and residents since I saw it for the very first time last year, however I’m specific few people have taken my guidance. That’s since Boyz II Guys is such a familiar act with a lot of hits, the trio’s Vegas existence has been ignored. As a summer episode of the excellent music-geek podcast Heat Rocks advised me, B2M is similarly neglected within its own genre; when fans ruminate nostalgically about ’90s R&B, they do not speak about these guys. The band is too popular and was too effective during that age. It’s odd.

I was sure I wasn’t the only person who felt this away about the act’s show, however I tested it anyhow: I took my better half and two of our closest friends to the Mirage to see it for their first time. They had the very same expectations I did: exceptionally skilled singers performing their numerous struck ballads. And they were blown away similar to I was. Naturally the voices are sharp as ever.

However what’s this? Boyz II Guys is a group of three charming comedians? Are they poking fun at their own famous oversinging? Yes. And now they’re going through their preferred Motown hits, and my pals are recognizing there’s no group much better suited to do it. Next, they review their a capella origins with another humorous segment, doing the doo-wop thing with youth Philly friend Marc Nelson. He was sort of an original member of Boyz II Men before it became the well-known foursome, and he’s become a sort of replacement given that bass singer Michael McCary left the group 15 years ago due to health issue.

They’ve currently sung “On Bended Knee,” the most Boyz II Men song ever, but they’re not done– they’re just beginning. Shawn and Nate strap on guitars and Wanya becomes the frontman of a rock band covering Lenny Kravitz, Bruno Mars and The Beatles. My good friend didn’t see that coming, and she’s stunned. She likewise didn’t believe she ‘d be shedding a few tears, but that’s what occurs when they sing “A Song for Mama.” She’s far from the only one.

My guests were incredulous at the sight of the ladies in the audience hurrying the phase to collect a long-stemmed red rose during “I’ll Make Love to You,” however after the program, they regretted not taking part. I was vindicated.

There’s no dispute. This is among the best programs in Las Vegas. Any headliner must have undeniable skill, iconic music or well-rounded showmanship to discover success on the Strip these days. Boyz II Guys has all three.

BOYZ II MEN November 16-18, December 28-29, 7:30 p.m., $54-$163. Mirage, 702-792-7777.

All The Vegas Podcast: Mirage headliner Terry Fator

Terry Fator has been living out his Las Vegas dreams for nearly a years with his own marquee headlining show in his own theater at the Mirage.”This is where the best performers on the planet pertained to carry out,” he says. “Celine Dion, the legend of legends, her vocals are not human. She’s simply ludicrous. No one must be able to sing that completely. And she’s right next door. That’s the best part. I enjoy when those legends come here for a residency since it makes me recognize exactly what an honor it is for me to be here and sustain a program.”

Q+A: Frank Marino celebrates 30 years as headliner on the Strip

Joan Rivers and Frank Marino are revealed throughout an episode of “Fashion Police” in 2013.

It’s been an amazing 30-year reign on the Strip. “His Majesty, The Queen” Frank Marino has had an unmatched run here as a female impersonator. Today, he celebrates his 30th anniversary in Cleopatra’s Rental property at Caesars Palace.

One week later on, he’ll formally toast the 30th anniversary of his life on the Strip at his program “Divas Las Vegas” at the Linq Hotel.

It’s a remarkable achievement for an individual who started with a strategy to go from being a pharmacy pharmacist to a physician but ended up more often than not experimenting in the makeup department rather than dispensing prescribeds.

From drugs to drag? Over time, he estimates that he’s invested almost $1.1 million on gowns and cosmetic surgery to preserve his feminine touch.

Frank was at the now-shuttered Riviera starring for 25 years in “An Evening at La Cage,” then for the last 5 years has been at the Linq Hotel with “Divas.”

When he mastered makeup, he changed himself into the star he most admired, Joan Rivers, and was reserved with other female impersonators to earn $150 an hour playing her, and others as Michael Jackson and Boy George, at wedding events and bar-mitzvahs.

“I was a righteous gay individual and entered drag for Halloween. Something caused another, and Joan Rivers happened to be playing in Atlantic City. She was so thoughtful to let me walk backstage. I just knocked on her door and stated, ‘I impersonate you,” and she was hot to me.

“While I remained in her dressing living room, I met manufacturer Lou Paciocco, who ran ‘A Night at La Cage.’ He employed me right there on the area to be the Joan Rivers for the Florida show. So I owe Joan a lot, too, for letting me into her dressing living room and presenting me to him to make that happen,” he told me.

Joan, who was a friend of mine, passed away a year earlier– Sept. 4– under dreadful situations including a medical professional in a medical malpractice matter at a New York City endoscopy center. I talked with Frank regarding his choice to continue with his acting to keep her legacy intact:

Tell me the story since we’re going over Joan of what her child Melissa Rivers said to you about continuing.

So quick forward Three Decade, the name Joan Rivers turns up in my home 10 times a day, and I get the dreadful news that Joan had actually passed or slipped into a coma, and that was like a member of the family to me at that point. Still to this day, it’s extremely surreal.

Melissa invited me to the funeral service, and I went to the Shiva services in California. While I was there, I said that I’m going to take it out of the act for a while, you know out of regard for your mom, and she said that if anybody would desire you to remain to do an acting of her, it would be my mama. So now I consider it more of a tribute than an acting.

The program that you have now at the Linq, that’s extremely various today than the program you began? Even forgetting “La Cage” for a minute.

Right. When we opened our program at the Riviera, it was more cabaret, and I attempted to make this show more high-energy show. I mixed it up. I kept the legends like Cher, Madonna, Diana Ross, however I did integrate the brand-new divas like Katy Perry, Britney Spears and Rihanna in the program due to the fact that these are going to be the super stars of tomorrow.

I wish to see to it that the more youthful individuals start pertaining to the program. I have actually observed because I began doing that, our crowds are getting more youthful and younger, yet we’re still keeping our routine audience.

Is it enjoyable to be a woman?

I believe it’s effort to be a female. Being a man eight hours a day and being a woman 8 hours a day and sleep in the other eight hours a day offer me perspectives of both sides. So what I’ve gotten is a great deal of respect for ladies and exactly what they need to go through to live up to what society wants them to be as far as glamorous girls.

And you’ve spent a reasonable bit of cash keeping the lady status, yes?

Yes, I indicate between the cosmetic surgery to try to remain looking young, and the fillers and Botox, the costuming and the makeup, it’s an extremely costly job to be a female.

Frank Marino’s ‘Divas Las Vegas’
Frank Marino poses with a phone in his dressing room before his 1,000th performance of Introduce slideshow “

To Wong Foo

Have you ever tallied it up?

I’ve never ever tallied it up, but I understand I have actually invested over $100,000 in cosmetic surgery, and I know that I have actually invested near $500,00 to $1 million in outfits over Three Decade. So it’s up there. All worth it. I would not change a thing.

Given that it’s topical news, what recommendations would provide Caitlyn Jenner? I believe it might be excellent if you explain the improvement between what Bruce Jenner chose to do and exactly what you do.

A great deal of individuals ask me the improvement in between what I do and what Bruce Jenner did when he ended up being Caitlyn Jenner. Exactly what I do is for home entertainment functions. I do it as a type of entertainment. Drag is just a slang word for a female impersonator who goes out and we impersonate normally the very same women– Dolly Parton, Madonna, Liza Minnelli.

Some people do a RuPaul, and I do the same thing, simply a generic drag piece. I call it my own trans-character because I’m not one of the ones who actually delights in impersonating somebody. I ‘d rather do myself.

With that being stated, that’s exactly what I do. It’s entertainment. My whole show, we stroll in as males, and we leave as males. Caitlyn Jenner, when you’re going through a shift and you’re going to have a sex modification, you in your mind feel you were born in the incorrect body, so he feels that he needs to be a female.

I never ever felt like I must be a female. I know it’s a costume, I know we do it for a program, it’s not a way of life, it’s none of that. It’s simply home entertainment, whereas Caitlyn wishes to be a female, and individuals have difficulty distinguishing that. Then there’s likewise transvestite, which is a 3rd one, which is usually a straight man who enjoys putting on women’s clothes for maybe a sexual turn on. So all three of these things are various: female impersonator, transsexual and drag queen.

For how long does it take you to get into character?

Nightly, it takes me an hour to obtain into the character and an hour and a half to get out of it because I put a lot theater makeup on.

Why does it take longer to take it off than to put it on?

Since when I put on the waxes and the putties, they go on a lot much easier than they come off. Women don’t have side burns huge eyebrows. I eliminate them with theater makeup, then I make use of a more womanly womankind of eyebrow. To obtain that stuff off, I have to use infant oil, and it’s a process.

Let’s have a little bit of enjoyable for a moment with a remark from you based upon the fact that it’s incorrect for any man to ask a female her age. So how old is Frank Marino?

I believe it’s incorrect to even ask a man his age. Just do what I do and stick to the age you use on AOL. I’ll answer mine. I’m 51 years of ages. I have to tell the fact due to the fact that they can just Google it. I don’t blame someone if they wish to lie and state they’re younger due to the fact that, unfortunately, society in America looks at the youth as having something more than the senior, whereas in Europe it’s the other method around.

Having struck the middle of life, just how much longer do you want to or can you go on doing exactly what you do as entertainer?

I used to aim to put a date on it, then I recognized that I was just making false dates. So I’m going to state as long as they keep asking me back, I’ll keep appearing as up as long as I’m physically able.

This might seem like a strange concern, however can you stay a girl even while you might be growing older as a guy?

I’m going to offer it my best shot to try to stay as good-looking for my age as I can. I have no idea that I necessarily need to look younger, but I would still like to look good for my age.

What have not you yet done that you wish to do that you’ve always wanted to do?

The only thing I have left to do that I have actually wished to do is get my own reality-TV program for one reason. My life is so insane that when I’m older and senile, I desire some documents of exactly what it truly resembled going day-by-day as Frank Marino.

I live my life like Lucille Ball. I wind up in the oddest situations continuously. Every day, there’s a multitude of them, and I shake my head going, “If this was on movie, they would not believe it.’ They ‘d swear I made it up.

Exactly what is the fascination with drag?

Well, to start with, it’s been a kind of entertainment for years. It goes all the method back to Kabuki, it goes to Shakespeare when women couldn’t do the theater function and the guys would play the ladies.

Then it was Milton Berle’s preferred thing to do, Flip Wilson, and even the more modern-day stars of films like “To Wong Foo, Thanks for Everything, Julie Newmar.” “Mrs. Doubtfire” and “Tootsie.” It’s always been entertainment that people can get an excellent belly laugh out of.

It’s exactly what we said previously. It is so tough for a female to be a female nowadays for what we expect in society for them to do. For a guy to be able to do it, it’s even more tough.

What do you have planned for the 30th anniversary year?

For the very first time in my life, I’m going to attempt to rest on my laurels. I’m not going to push myself to the limitations. I want to delight in the 30th anniversary and take it all in and stop and smell the roses, which I always state I’m going to do, and I never ever did. I’m going to try that, and I’m going to try to do a tiny trip for the last time.

I don’t wish to seem like Cher stating farewell, then I keep returning, but I want to play other cities while I am still able to take a trip like that with the show and bring it to other locations that generally can’t get to Las Vegas.

Any changes to the show for its 30th year?

Yes. I’m still looking for a Miley Cyrus, I’ve been stating this for a year. I simply found a Taylor Swift. We’re altering the music from the characters that are already in the program. We just worked with a brand brand-new Pink that you’re going to love when you see the program next.

I simply wish to keep it developing. I never ever wish to change it all at one time, however I just want to regularly be dealing with something to be brand-new since we get a lot repeat business that I want to make certain that they’re seeing something fresh every time.

We are 30 years, and people might believe that it’s a show that ladies enjoy more than men, however that’s not real. Every time a spouse gets a spouse to come to the program, he’s generally the first one to ask her to come back because he had such a good time.

Congratulations, Frank, and to your partner and fiance, Alex Schechter, and your cast. Thirty years on the Las Vegas Strip is a crowning achievement, and you’re still its longest running headliner. Long might you continue!

With its glass, star-lit outside, visitors cannot miss the Riviera when driving down the Strip. “I’m in fact 6-foot-6! Now that would not be accurate. It would be a surprise,” quipped 5-foot-7 nation singer-songwriter Justin Moore, in his friendly and charming Arkansas drawl, in response to a question about tricks.

“I have actually talked about it in the media before, however I’m a truly great cook. I do it all. For me, I ‘d state steak (is my trademark dish), however my spouse would state stir fry.”

Moore, the Academy of C and w’s New Artist of the Year in 2014, responded to questions over the phone Wednesday early morning ahead of his Saturday night performance at the outside Downtown Las Vegas Events Center:

Exactly what can fans expect from your performance Saturday night at Downtown Las Vegas Occasions Center?

We pride ourselves as a band to place on an energetic show. It’s our task to throw a party for 45 minutes, an hour, 2 hours. It will be enjoyable.

Over the years, we have actually discovered that having fun and enjoying our performances depends more on us than the fans. If we have a good time onstage, it becomes contagious. That’s our objective.

Do you choose indoor or outside shows?

Y’ know, I enjoy both for different factors. In the summer season, being outdoors at celebrations and in amphitheaters, there is absolutely a celebration environment.

I such as the indoors, too, since no matter what time it is, it’s dark, and it’s a different vibe when the lights go down.

Outdoors, you can’t always reach the folks in the back, while in an arena, people are almost on top of you. There are positives to each.

The forecast high for Saturday is 105. It’ll cool down by the night, but it will still probably be hot. Are you ready for the heat?

I am! I’m from the South, from Arkansas, so I’m utilized to it. It’s a various heat. It can be 95 degrees in Arkansas and feel like 135 since of the humidity. You men don’t have that. I dislike winter– I like the heat.

How did your profession and life modification after winning the Academy of Country Music’s New Artist of the Year award here in Las Vegas in 2014?

It hasn’t altered our profession at all, and I didn’t expect it changing it. But it did alter me personally. Whether it’s George Strait getting his thousandth award or me my very first or 2nd, I didn’t get into this for awards.

It’s about strolling onstage and playing music and still being enthusiastic about music. But winning an award was validation for all the blood, sweat and tears the past seven or eight years.

For all the people who busted their rears. My Mom and Dad got sidelines to aid me pay my costs when I couldn’t. My managers and employees who are working for me in 105-degree Las Vegas heat (laughs).

My other half and children and household back house. It’s tough for their father being gone a great deal of the time, so it was more individual recognition and something that I share with them.

You have actually had various No. 1 singles now. How does it feel to reach No. 1 on the charts?

It’s very awesome. It never gets old. We have five No. 1 songs to our credit. When I began in 2002, striking No. 1 was not in my vocabulary. I simply desired a record offer, then making an album.

But getting one No. 1 hit tune, it’s like a drug to accomplish another one. My career has grown over the years, and I cannot thank fans and country radio enough. It has been great. Now let’s get to double-digit No. 1 strikes!

In addition to touring, what are you working on right now?

We’re dealing with a brand brand-new cd. It’s been a few short years, and the objective is to have a new album every few years. Unlike the very first 3 cds, when it was single after single after single, now we can take sufficient time to get back in the studio and work at a slower rate.

It’s been enjoyable for me not to be concerned about people forgetting us, and that’s since of country radio and the fans. We have actually discovered songs for this cd had we rushed into it, we would not have. They’re songs that I enjoy, so we can tweak in the studio. This has actually been the most enjoyable cd to make in my profession.

Who are your music motivations?

It’s the same as everybody else: Waylon Jennings, George Strait, Jon Anderson Vern Gosdin, Keith Whitley, Lynyrd Skynyrd.

However my favorite artist of all time is Dwight Yoakam. I wish to be him, and I try to be him. His tunes are so different. I have actually been fortunate in that I’ve beinged familiar with him. He’s a really hero, and he’s still rocking.

Who are some of your preferred artists you’re paying attention to right now?

Not to knock anyone out there now, however, when I unplug, it’s all anything about the Arkansas Razorbacks. I’m a big fan.

If I’m paying attention to music, it’s things I’m grown up paying attention to throughout the years. Among my buddies as soon as said to me, “You’re the oldest 31-year-old I know. You should be 70.”

That’s my musical taste, more of the old-school noise, because that’s what I personally like, old stuff by George Strait. I’m a little boring that method.

Exactly what is one goal that remains in your profession?

Oh, wow, y’ know, I have actually been fortunate to do way more than what I prepared for is possible. I’m constantly refining my goals. Becoming a member of the Grand Ole Opry would be the ultimate for me. It’s a fraternity that promotes itself.

Do you still have tattoos on both of your arms? Plans for anymore tattoos– perhaps while you remain in Las Vegas?

Yes, and yes! Las Vegas would be a great spot for it. I have one on my back and one on each arm. Among them is the birthday of my very first child. Ever since, I have actually had two more children and gotten some guff. So it’s time for more.

Inform me one thing that fans would be shocked to find out about you.

I’m actually 6-foot-6! Now that would not be accurate. It would be a surprise. I have actually discussed it in the media prior to, however I’m a truly excellent cook.

Signature dish?

I do it all. For me, I ‘d say steak, however my partner would say stir fry.

Exactly what is on your to-do list or must-do list when you remain in Las Vegas?

To not lose my wallet or anything in it and make it back alive (laughs). I’m joking. My time in Las Vegas over the years has considerably altered, but I like playing cards, even if it indicates losing a bit of money.

Headliner action at Axis; Taste Flav brighten Carrot Top’s program at Luxor

Saturday, Sept. 5, 2015|10:02 p.m.

Flavor Flav Get Lit

This was Friday in a nutshell– a nutshell wrapped in neon– for The Kats Report Bureau:

A Q+A column about Naomi Judd. Afternoon rehearsal action with Criss Angel as he preps his “Supernaturalists” production for a U.S. tour starting Sept. 18 in New Brunswick, N.J. An on-the-fly check out to Carrot Top at Luxor, where seated square in the middle of the audience was an enthusiastic Taste Flav.

Then, a pop-in to the Veggie Room on 215 and Buffalo, a rather new hang that was at when a casual dining establishment, a slickly designated tavern and a live-entertainment haunt.

Vocalist Vanessa LeGrand and guitar wiz Taos Pelt held fort as a stream of late-night creepers descended, among them Carrot Top, Zowie Bowie, Murray Sawchuck, Lydia Ansel, Jeff Molitz, vocalist Laura Suzanne Wright and comic Anthony Padilla.

All we were missing out on was Mike Hammer, Jeff Civillico and a red carpet resulting in the opening of … something.

Let’s move this crew along, eh?

– We can expect some activity from Axis at World Hollywood by the middle of this month. Some pieces are to be connected as the location fills out its headliner lineup. I understand that this new resident entertainer is male, so it is not the oft-rumored Adele, and is a “legacy” artist with a multigenerational appeal.

Also, the evident waffling by Britney Spears as she mulls a go back to Axis has actually helped produce interest and ticket sales in her October dates, however I’m hearing that she has concurred not only to a return to Planet Hollywood next year, however likewise in 2017. None of this confirmed, mind you. Not yet.

Chris Phillips of Zowie Bowie and Flavor Flav throw it down at Rocks Lounge.

– The connection between Carrot Top and Taste Flav– we discussed them earlier– was solidified years ago on a flight to Las Vegas from San Francisco. In a story the comic told from the stage, Flav (I think that is the proper second reference for him) appeared to be a bit drunk as he strolled through security.

He was stopped and questioned, and Topper (I believe that likewise is the proper second reference for him), who occurred to be on the exact same air travel, interceded with, “Are you joking? This is Flavor Flav! Come on!”

Topper then led Flav to the aircraft, where the hip-hop super star and timepiece fashion icon shook hands with every passenger. “It was like he was running for president!” Topper told the audience.

On Friday, the response to Topper’s introduction of Flav was satisfied by a roar from the crowd, and some calls of, “Taste Flaaaaaaaav!” and “Yeaaaah boooooy!” The audience’s response was so disruptive that Topper pointed to himself and reminded an already-hot crowd, “Hey! Interest! Up right here!” Team Topper said afterward that it was the most manic reaction to a celeb ever at a Carrot Top show.

Yet another link between these camps: Topper is in the Flav/Wayne Martin video “Get Lit,” which would or need to be the title of Flav’s biography. The video includes a couple of other Las Vegas-based performers, among them: Sawchuck and his partner, Chloe Crawford; and Doug “Lefty” Leferovich from Sawchuck’s Sin City Theater program. It appears Coolio remains in that limousine of ecstasy, too. If not, he ought to be.

Jason Egan

– Shock Dome returns Oct. 2 for its 13th anniversary at Circus Circus. Destination creator Jason Egan refuses to sit still; you can not stop this man’s insistent march to the top of his field with even 100 chainsaws.

Contributed to this year’s Fright Dome lineup is the Insanitarium, which is said to be Egan’s “most extreme, disturbing and visceral maze yet.” Extreme, visceral, labyrinth action is what we’re assured. Guests are required to check in at a nurse’s station (which would not be so frightening if the nurse is Jennifer Romas), where they sign voluntary commitment documents before entering the haunted fortress. Visitors are locked inside, then chased by a crazed specialist without any mapped means of leaving.

The temperature levels will certainly be kept at freezing, as this is a huge body locker, and the odor of decomposing corpses will certainly hang in the air.

All I can say is, dang, Jason. Really?

Can’t wait to see this personally …

The marquee for longtime Las Vegas magician Steve Wyrick, now headlining an open-ended residency at RFD-TV the Theater in Branson, Mo.

– Steve Wyrick is still spinning his magic, on the stage and in business, with a residency entitled “Ultra Magician” at RFD-TV the Theater in Branson, Mo. He is offstage up until at least Oct. 16, mending from a concealed injury.

In Las Vegas, Wyrick was most recently the lord of the manor at Steve Wyrick Theater at Miracle Mile Shops at World Hollywood. You may recognize it today as Saxe Theater, where David Saxe stages his highly entertaining “Vegas! The Program” production.

Already owner of the collection of spaces at V Theater down the Miracle Mile walkway, Saxe bought Wyrick Theater after Wyrick badgered out of the place in January 2010. There is a feeling that he might wish to go back to Las Vegas, and why not? Exactly what the city actually needs is one more magic show. But for now, it’s $39 a pop for “Ultra Magician,” whenever he returns to the phase.

Mirage headliner performer Terry Fator is officially engaged this morning after proposing to his brand-new partner Angie Fiore on Monday night.

Vegas DeLuxe first exposed their blossoming romance in mid-June when Terry introduced Angie, a Dallas catering event coordinator and chef, to his good friends while celebrating his 50th birthday.

Terry and Angie told me at that time that it was a whirlwind romance: “It’s the genuine deal. We both understood immediately that we were suggested to be.”

They were introduced to each other by Terry’s sibling, Debbie, at a Texas fundraiser performance at which the vocal singing impressionist ventriloquist carried out.

“She had no concept who I was when we were presented,” he stated.

Terry and Angie clicked so rapidly that Debbie set them up for lunch the next day, and they’ve been together since.

Unfortunately, Debbie passed away simply weeks ago from her long battle with rheumatoid arthritis, so she will not get to share their engagement excitement or witness the wedding.

Terry moved her from Dallas to his Las Vegas house previously this summer for her to have optimal treatment and comfort.

Terry separated from his second better half, Hawaiian-born charm model Taylor Makakoa, who still works as his onstage assistant in the Mirage show, in February.

Angie has been flying to Las Vegas on weekends for 3 months now to hang out with Terry but continued to run her business in Dallas during the week.

For Terry’s 50th birthday party, she wrote a version of the Dionne Warwick and Dusty Springfield hit “This Girl’s in Love With You” with the aid of Lon Bronson, whose Las Vegas band played it for her vocal singing in Terry’s garden.

The “America’s Got Skill” champ, who can carry out more than 100 ventriloquist actings, sat at the side of his swimming pool as she sang the tune to him.

After kissing and hugging each other, Terry said: “That was truly stunning. I am so lucky to have found her.”

Angie produced a birthday cake in the shape of Mickey Mouse from the very first photo of themselves together.

“We both enjoy Disneyland,” Terry chuckled. “We have so many similar interests,” stated Angie. “We’re both everything about family.”

Terry’s PR representative Alissa Kelly verified this morning: “He proposed last night during the program– she stated yes. Now they are formally engaged.”

Remain to follow Vegas DeLuxe for details of Angie’s engagement ring and the couple’s wedding event plans.
