Bow Wow buckles down when he’s club-hosting in Vegas

Vegas Golden Knights hosting event in downtown Las Vegas to thank fans

The Vegas Golden Knights said the organization is hosting an occasion Wednesday night to thank fans for their support during their inaugural season.

Called “Stick Salute to Vegas and Our Fans,” the occasion is complimentary and available to the general public. It’s arranged to happen under the Fremont Street Experience canopy outside the D Las Vegas.

The group stated there will be unique looks from select gamers, General Supervisor George McPhee and Head Coach George Gallant.

Other appearances include the Drumbots, Possibility and Golden Aces.

Stick Salute is arranged to run from 5:30 p.m.– 7:00 p.m. near the 3rd Street Phase.

Costco hosting shopping event to honor veterans, active-duty military

UNLV hosting employment workshops, job fair for military veterans

Military veterans will have the opportunity to attend work workshops and hand out resumes at a task fair at UNLV.

The Veteran Profession Fair normally draws more than 100 employers, according to organizers.

In advance of possible interviews on Saturday, employment workshops are being held from noon to 4 p.m. Friday at the Stan Fulton Building– International Gaming Institute.

Workshops will concentrate on subjects such as transitioning from military to civilian life, enhancing job-seeking abilities and social media.

On Saturday, companies will be at the career fair from 8 a.m. to noon.

Among those participating in the two-day event are Metro Police, the Clark County Fire Department and the Nevada Department of Public Security, which is hiring Nevada Highway Patrol cannon fodders, parole and probation officers, and public security dispatchers.

The occasion, hosted by UNLV’s Armed force and Veteran Provider Center, was organized in combination with the university, U.S. Sen. Catherine Cortez Masto’s workplace and various nonprofit companies.
