NLVPD examine a fatal crash on Losee near Washburn Road( NLVPD/ FOX5). NORTH LAS VEGAS, NV( FOX5)- North Las Vegas cops are investigating a multiple-vehicle crash that left a single person dead Saturday night. Officers reacted to reports of a crash around 10 p.m. on Losee and Washburn roads, near Ann Roadway. A total of three lorries were associated with the crash. Authorities said a 65-year-old driver of an SUV passed away from the injuries he got in the accident.
February 25, 2018 According to the initial investigation, the 65-year-old man was driving northbound on Losee Road approaching Washburn Roadway when his car was struck by a sedan that was traveling at a high rate of speed in the very same direction. Cops stated the chauffeur of the sedan lost control and crossed over the taking a trip lane.
Both vehicles ran the road east of Losee. The guy and the chauffeur of the sedan were transferred to a nearby hospital where the victim later on died, cops said.
The chauffeur of the sedan was noted in severe condition since Sunday afternoon, cops said. Officers think that speed and impairment triggered the fatal crash.
A 3rd cars and truck was struck during the crash however the occupant( s) did not sustain any injuries.
Northbound Losee Road was briefly closed.
The Coroner’s office will launch the identity, and cause and manner of death, of the decedent after official notification to near relative has actually been made.
This is the 7th car fatality in North Las Vegas in 2018.
