City authorities investigate death of 4-year-old child

180″/ > LAS VEGAS( FOX5 )- Metro’s Abuse and Neglect Unit is investigating the death of a 4-year-old kid reported Wednesday afternoon in the southeast Valley.

Clark County Fire Department initially responded to a medical call at Siegel Suites on 3625 Stone Highway at 12:51 p.m. On arrival, officials asked for Metro police.

The kid was transported to Dawn Healthcare facility’s Pediatric unit where the child later passed away.

City said it is regular for the Abuse and Overlook area to examine a child death. It is unknown at this time if the death was suspicious or natural due to previous medical conditions, according to authorities.

Two additional kids were located in the home.

Authorities investigate reports of cupcakes including bodily fluids gave school


Cops in Connecticut are investigating reports of cupcakes tainted with a physical fluid that were given school.

The Winchester cops chief stated the department received a grievance about thought tainted cupcakes that were given The Gilbert School in Winsted.

Cops said they are examining a shooting that occurred late Friday night in northeast Las Vegas.

The shooting happened at 11:50 p.m. in the 5200 block of Craig Roadway, near Nellis Boulevard.

Police said a lady was shot and was carried to University Medical Center in important condition.

Las Vegas police investigate shooting at filling station

Las Vegas Metro police stated a man was taken to University Medical Center Friday afternoon following a shooting at a gas station.

According to the department’s Lt. Michael Montel, the shooting happened after 5 p.m. at a Chevron station located at the crossway of North Durango and Westcliff drives.

Montel said police think 2 people got into an argument at the pumps and a shot was fired, striking the victim in the hip.

The victim’s injuries are not life-threatening.

Montel said the shooter ran away the scene, and officers were searching for a late model car with front-end damage.
